We have a new user who should be known to many people here.
Today at the Ohio Real Estate Investor's Assoc conference, Don Beck purchased the standard edition of The Property Manager for use in his rental system.
Don is a well known speaker on the topic of landlording and was one of the featured speakers at the OREIA convention. He commented to me that he is not a computer person and he needed something that would do his job, but wouldn't overwhelm him with technical details when he tried to set it up.
When I demoed it for him at the show, we set up his 32 unit apartment building in the system in about 2 minutes, including all units. It took that long because he gave me a hard building, in terms of how the units were named, and I had to manually adjust the system's guesses about the apartment numbers.
If you do a search for "Don Beck Landlord" in Google or other search engines, you will find out about him. He doesn't have an internet presence of his own. Also, since he likes to drive his RV to his speaking engagements, and he lives in Philadelphia, he normally only speaks east of the Mississippi.
