: What are the most popular programs for renting apartments?
: I've used Yards,MSI and RentRoll.

I don't know about most popular but I can tell you that we are among the best. Release 4.1 will be out later this week. Presently we are making sure we haven't introduced any nasty bugs.

The Property Manager is much easier to use than Yardi. It is more modern than MSI and if I am not mistaken MSI has a time limited license, which means you keep buying it. The Property Manager is also more modern than Rent Roll, and compares with it in ease of use.

This new release adds a very flexible capability to handle recurring expenses for the Payables side, and to handle recurring charges for the Receivables side.

On the receivables side, charges can be set up by tenant, with no limit on how many charges per tenant. Pet fees, extra feature fees, or whatever you choose to put there can be easily handled.

This release extends our nice Building setup wizard by adding a Unit Features Clone wizard. Setting up large complexes is now a matter of only a few minutes.

We also have provided a capability for the user to change the date format on all forms and reports.

At this point, our package substantially outperforms Tenant Pro; matching it feature for feature and vastly exceeding it with ease of use and flexibility. Of course, Rent Right isn't in our league; that package doesn't have the accounting features.

MSI...YARDI...Rent Roll...we stand up with them, and we're improving quickly.
