: I have been using the Property Manager software successfully for several months. However, today when I opened the program to the main window the program would go no further. I was completely unable to access any of the stored information, enter new info or run reports, creating obvious problems. Further, when I attempted to reach you at your telephone number I was unable to reach anyone to address my problems and was unable leave a message (mailbox full)

: A quick response will be appreciated.

If you are running windows XP we have a small number of clients who have had problems when Windows has abruptly deleted a DLL that is needed by our package (mapi.dll). We have no idea why this is happening and we doubt it has anything to do with our package (although who can say). The best solution in this case is to use the Windows Restore feature to roll back to a restore point, which will cause Windows to reinstall the DLL.

In the future, if you are on XP or 2000, you might consider establishing a user account that has limited user rights. This might prevent the bug, whatever it is, from having sufficient access rights to delete a DLL.
