Hi there:
I am the bookkeeper for a company that does leasing of furnished and unfurnished units. We do not property manage all of the units, but are still required to generate reports each month for the owners with regards to Income and Expenses incurred. All transactions go through our Trust account, and each owner has a sub-ledger within the Trust where all deposits and cheques pertinent to their property are recorded. At the moment we are operating on a manual ledger system. I record the income and expenses on each owner's sub-ledger card, then transfer this to a running balance of the Trust account, then generate an Excel spreadsheet for each owner every month which I send out quarterly. What I would like to know is if your software would eliminate the need for me to make so many entries for each transaction? As we get busier, this process is becoming ever-more labour intensive, and I'm sure that there must be an easier way! Also would appreciate if you could let me know of any customers you have in the Greater Vancouver (Canada) area that are using your software so that I might be able to contact them and see it in action.
