This is a case we don't handle. What you would do is set up late fees so that your $30 on the fifth of the month was in the system. When that late fee was due, and you entered a rent, the system will ask you if the late fee should be added in. When it pops up that requester, the amount the system wants to add in is in a text box that you can change.
It will ask you if it should add in $30.00. If the date is prior to the 10th, you would accept that value. If the date is after the 10th, you would change the $30 to a $50 and then accept THAT value.
