As of the end of 1999, when we were migrating from Release 2 to Release 3, we dropped support for 800x600 displays in The Property Manager. That migration was a major technological change, and we essentially re-wrote the entire application in a new language. At that time we decided that most people had moved to 1024x768 so we didn't write new code for 800x600. As a consequence, our package looks pretty ugly on an 800x600 display.
Well, we were wrong. We have learned that about half our visitors are using 800x600. So, recognizing that we shouldn't have dropped support for 800x600, we have added it back in.
From this moment forth, every copy of The Property Manager that is shipped will properly support 800x600 displays, and a new version of the demo that properly supports it will be on the site by tomorrow. All our affiliates should have their updated copies of their demos within a week.
Clearly, we made a mistake. We have now corrected it.
